Eligible businesses can save thousands of dollars each year as a result of 100% tax abatement on information technology personal property, that is new to Waterbury's Grand List.

Real estate tax abatements are also available on new improvements costing at least $25,000, up to $5 million. Abatements are from 50% to 100% on the increased assessment for terms of two to seven years.
